Shocking run time locked for Vijay’s Varisu

Thalapathy Vijay is one of the most bankable stars now in the Tamil film industry. His films do sensational business irrespective of their talk. The star hero’s next release is Varisu, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, and has Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady.
The movie completed its censor formalities a few days back and was given a clean U certificate by CBFC. The censor certificate is now out, and the movie has a shocking runtime of 2 hours and 50 minutes (170 minutes). This is lengthy, and we need to see how tight the screenplay will be.
Ace Tollywood producer Dil Raju ventured into Kollywood with Varisu. The movie has an ensemble cast of Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sangeetha, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Suman, and Shaam in important roles. Varisu releases on 11th January. The movie will be out in Telugu as Vaarasudu.
