NEET UG 2024 Row Live Updates: To further intensify their protest against the BJP-led NDA government in the alleged NEET irregularities, the Congress has decided to hold a nationwide protest on June 21 (Friday) demanding justice for the NEET candidates.
The Supreme Court Tuesday ordered the National Testing Agency (NTA) to take responsibility of any negligence in the conduct of the NEET UG 2024. Further, the NTA is learnt to have conveyed to the Ministry of Education that examinees from Patna and Godhra, under scrutiny for benefitting from alleged irregularities, do not appear to have had any unusual advantage as per an analysis of their marks.

Meanwhile, the top court has also instructed the NTA to conduct a retest for the 1563 candidates affected by loss of exam time. The fresh admit cards for the NEET UG 2024 retest will be sent to the concerned students directly through their registered email addresses.
For the second day in a row, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will continue its protest against the alleged NEET paper leak. “Rs 30 to 50 lakh were taken from students to appear for NEET exam paper. In the centre of Godhra, Gujarat, students were asked to leave the OMR sheet blank and later the teachers filled the OMR sheet. The central government knows this entire matter and is trying to hide this scam. The Central Government should conduct a complete investigation under the supervision of the Supreme Court,” the party alleged on June 18.
