NEW DELHI: Justin Timberlake, a well-known singer, was taken into custody early Tuesday morning on suspicion of drink & driving on Long Island, New York, as stated by authorities.
The Suffolk County district attorney’s office released a statement indicating that Timberlake was expected to face charges in Sag Harbor, situated on the eastern end of Long Island.
Sag Harbor, a coastal village in the Hamptons, approximately 100 miles (160 kilometers) from New York City, is a popular summer destination for affluent visitors.
Timberlake’s early career included a stint as a Disney Mouseketeer, where he shared the stage with future girlfriend Britney Spears. He gained prominence as a member of the popular boy band NSYNC before launching a solo recording career in 2002.
