Motorola has launched its third Moto Edge 50 series device in India, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. It is the company’s latest flagship smartphone and brings new generative AI features to enhance the user experience. Moreover, the phone has many upgrades in the camera, processor, and display over its predecessor, Moto Edge 40 Pro.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra: Price and availability
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is only available in a 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant, which is currently priced at Rs 54,999, as a part of the company’s early bird pricing. However, Motorola is also providing a flat Rs 5,000 discount with ICICI bank cards, which makes its effective starting price at Rs 49,999 after offers.
The smartphone will be available from Flipkart, Motorola’s website, and major offline stores starting from June 24.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra: Specifications, features
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with 12GB DDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, it has a curved 6.7-inch 1.5K 10-bit OLED screen with 144Hz peak refresh rate. The smartphone has a peak brightness of up to 2,500 nits peak with HDR 10+ support and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

Under the hood, the Edge 50 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with Adreno 735 GPU. The device runs on Android 14 out-of-the-box and is backed up by a 4,500 mAh battery with 125W TurboPower fast charging support.
In terms of cameras, the smartphone gets a 50MP primary shooter with OIS, a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 64 MP 3X portrait telephoto camera. You will also get a 50MP front camera.
The Edge 50 Ultra also has several Moto AI features including Magic Canvas, Action Shot, AI Adaptive Stabilisation, Photo Enhancement Pro, and more. It is available in three colour options: Forest Grey, Peach Fuzz, and Nordic Wood.
