Dividend, Bonus Alert: Last chance to buy shares of HPCL, BPCL, Bajaj Finance before record date

The last date to buy shares of stocks like HPCL, BPCL, Bajaj Finance and L&T will be this week before their respective corporate actions take effect, ranging from their final dividend to the issue of bonus shares. Let us take a look at that list here.

HDFC AMC | On June 7, HDFC AMC had made a dividend announcement of ₹70 per share, which turned out to be the highest ever payout in the company’s history so far as a listed entity. Record date for the same as been fixed as June 18, 2024. The dividend will be credited to shareholders on or before June 30, 2024.

HPCL & BPCL | The state-run oil marketing companies will be issuing bonus shares to their respective shareholders. While HPCL will issue one bonus share for every two held, BPCL will issue one bonus share for every one held. The record date for HPCL’s bonus issue is June 21, while that for BPCL is June 22.

L&T | Larsen & Toubro had declared a final dividend of ₹28 per share along with its March quarter results. This is also the highest ever payout declared by the company on record. The record date for the payment of this dividend is June 20.

Bajaj Finance | Bajaj Finance had also declared its highest ever dividend of ₹36 per share, surpassing the ₹30 per share it had declared last year. Record date for the dividend has been fixed as June 21.

LTIMindtree | The IT services provider of the L&T group had declared a 4,500% final dividend or ₹45 per equity share earlier this year. Including this dividend, the company has paid dividends worth nearly ₹300 to its shareholders since 2018. Record date for the current dividend is fixed as June 19.

Tata Investment Corp | Two Tata Group companies are the final two on this list. First is Tata Investment Corporation, which declared a final dividend of ₹28 per share, record date for which has been fixed as June 18. The stock has risen 58% in the calendar year of 2024 so far.

Automobile Corporation of Goa | The other Tata Group company had also declared a dividend of ₹15 per share recently and has fixed June 18 as the record date for the same.
