BTS members reunite to celebrate Jin’s military discharge ahead of the group’s 11th anniversary

All the BTS members, who are currently serving in the military, are set to reunite to celebrate the discharge of their eldest member, Jin.

BTS members RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, Jungkook, and V have taken leave to gather together to welcome Jin as he completes his military service.

Due to safety concerns at the site, there will be no official discharge ceremony. The BTS members had initially planned to meet Jin at the military base, but due to potential crowding issues, they are expected to quietly celebrate his discharge at a private location in Seoul.

Regarding this, Big Hit Music, their agency, stated, “It is difficult to confirm,” taking a cautious stance.

Previously, the members have shown strong camaraderie by taking leave to greet each other on their enlistment days.

Jin enlisted as an active-duty soldier in the Army on December 13, 2022, becoming the first BTS member to begin his military service. He served diligently as an instructor at the 5th Infantry Division’s training center and is set to complete his 18 months of service and be discharged on the 12th.

The day after Jin’s discharge, on the 13th, marks the 11th anniversary of BTS’s debut. The group will celebrate their grand return with fans at the offline event ‘2024 FESTA’ held at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul.
