The two wickets derailed Pakistan’s inning and the team could not get the push they needed to post a match-winning total. Later, USA captain Monank Patel scored 50 while Andries Gous and Aaron Jones scored 36 each as the USA forced the match into the Super Over after matching Pakistan’s total of 159. Aaron Jones later scored 18 runs in the Super Over and a brilliant over by Saurabh Netravalkar helped USA fetch an impressive win.
