According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich is hesitant to pay the hefty €20 million transfer fee demanded by Burnley for Vincent Kompany. In addition, Plettenberg refuted reports that Kompany is already in Munich:

This would not be the first time during this coaching search that a deal hit a late roadblock. However, Bayern Munich seems a little more desperate this time around to get a deal done.
