The US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) has concluded a pre-approval inspection at company’s Somerset, New Jersey manufacturing facility. The inspection was conducted during May 7 and May 17, 2024, and closed with an issuance of a Form-483 with six observations.
The food company has issued a clarification note on media reports related to unsafe Patanjali Soan Papdi, saying food business came into the fold of Patanjali Foods in July 2022 only and hence the company has no connection with this matter.
The liquor maker sold 6.3 million cases of its flagship brand, Magic Moments Vodka in FY24, amounting to sales worth Rs 1,000 crore. This was significantly higher compared to the previous fiscal year’s sales of 5.2 million cases.
The US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) has completed an inspection at the company’s Visakhapatnam-based multipurpose API manufacturing facility. According to the inspection, the site is in an “Acceptable State of Compliance” with zero Form 483 inspectional observations from the US FDA. The US health regulator had inspected the said facility during May 14-17 this year.
The state-run railway company has received a Letter of Acceptance for a project worth Rs 148.3 crore from SER HQELECTRICAL/South Eastern Railway. It will undertake the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning for the upgradation of the electric traction system in the Kharagpur division of South Eastern Railway to meet the 3000 MT loading target.
