Ather Energy Sales December 2022:Ather Energy has released the December 2022 sales report. The company sold 9187 electric two-wheelers in the last month of last year (December 2022), which was 389 percent more than in December 2021. Let us tell you that in November 2022, 7234 electric two-wheelers of the company were sold. That is, the company’s sales have increased as compared to both December 2021 and November 2022. The company opened its 14 experience centers last month. These include cities like Nellore, Karimnagar, Udupi, Noida, Kottayam and Shimoga.
How many electric scooters were sold in the month of October?
Ather Energy had sold 7234 electric two-wheelers in November 2022 and 8213 electric two-wheelers in October 2022. Ather sold 250 units on Diwali in Bengaluru alone.
Commenting on the sales, Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said, “We have ended the year with strong sales. Despite an industry decline of nearly 40 per cent in two-wheeler sales, our retail sales for the month of December stood at 26%. Notably, we have further strengthened our presence in Tier 2-3 markets, which augurs well for EV adoption across the country. We continued to expand our retail footprint, opening 14 new outlets and are now present in 70 cities with 89 experience centres. As the year turns, the industry continues to accelerate, and January has some exciting news lined up for us, we look forward to a fulfilling month for Ather. “
Ather inaugurates its second manufacturing plant in Hosur
Ather Energy inaugurated its second manufacturing plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu in November. Spread over 300,000 square feet, the facility will help the company increase its production capacity to 420,000 units per annum. Here the company will assemble its best selling scooters – Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus.
