Atma Prem Giri Maharaj, also called the “Muscular Baba,” is seven feet tall and has a powerful physique that has left everyone amazed. Dressed in simple saffron robes, carrying a bag (jhola), and wearing a rudraksha mala, he has become the talk of the mela.
Many have compared him to Parasuram, a warrior-sage and the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who is known in Hindu mythology for fighting evil rulers.

Over 30 years ago, the baba, originally from Russia, learned about Hinduism and decided to adopt the religion. He gave up his career as a teacher and devoted his life to spreading the teachings of Hinduism.
He now lives in Nepal and is part of the Juna Akhada, one of the largest groups of Hindu ascetics.
