
The one-man commission of PC Ghose is interrogating those accused in irregularities that occurred during the construction of Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project.
Today, it was the turn of Harish Rao, who was the irrigation minister during BRS government’s term.

The probe went on for 45 minutes. Harish Rao is said to have given detailed answers with evidence for various queries posed.
The Ghose Commission is looking into lapses in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of Medigadda, Annaram and Sundilla barrages under Kaleshwaram project.

Prior to leaving for interrogation, Harish Rao addressed media and said BRS had complete faith in law and judiciary. Ex MAUD minister KTR met Harish Rao to show his solidarity, before Rao left for the probe. BRS cadre came in large numbers to support Harish Rao.
Before Harish Rao, Eatala who was the then finance minister was questioned. Eatala pushed the blame on to then irrigation minister Harish Rao and ex CM KCR.

BRS chief and ex CM KCR will appear for interrogation on June 11.
