In a devastating turn of events, a tragic road accident on northbound U.S. 75 in Anna, Texas, has left four people dead and others injured. The crash, which occurred around 3:30 PM on Friday, involved a series of vehicles that led to a horrific inferno.

According to the Collin County Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place just past White Street and involved approximately five vehicles.

One vehicle, an SUV carrying three people of Telugu origin and one Tamil individual, was engulfed in flames after a high-speed truck collided with its rear.

Despite efforts from emergency responders, the occupants of the SUV were unable to escape the inferno and were tragically found burnt to death.

The severity of the crash led to a complete shutdown of the northbound lanes of U.S. 75, with traffic being diverted to the access road.

The Anna Police Department and local fire departments are on the scene, working to manage the aftermath and investigate the cause of the accident.
