Traveltech startup Holiday Tribe is in talks to raise around ₹50 Cr in a fresh funding round, with RPSG Capital Ventures among the prospective investors, sources told Inc42.

The proposed fundraise comes amid investments in customised holiday planning platforms, including 30 Sundays’ ₹61 Cr Series A round and Flipkart’s investment in TravClan

The round is yet to be finalised, and its size and investor participation could change. Holiday Tribe previously raised ₹25 Cr in a pre-Series A round in August 2025

Traveltech startup Holiday Tribe is in talks to raise around ₹50 Cr (about $5.2 Mn) in a fresh funding round, with RPSG Capital Ventures among the prospective investors, sources told Inc42.

The startup is actively engaging with the investment firm, the sources said. However, the round is yet to be finalised, and its size and investor participation could change as discussions progress.

Queries sent to Holiday Tribe and RPSG Capital Ventures did not elicit a response by the time of publication.

Founded in 2022 by Anshu Sharma and Chirag Goyal, both former MakeMyTrip executives, Holiday Tribe offers customised holiday packages. The startup combines AI-powered planning with travel experts to provide itinerary recommendations, bookings, and support for family holidays, honeymoons, luxury trips, and group travel.

Its platform features a planning tool called Avni and lists domestic and international destinations, including Kerala, Bali, Dubai, Japan, Vietnam, and several European markets. Customers can also seek customised quotes through its travel advisors.

Holiday Tribe previously raised ₹25 Cr in a pre-Series A round last year. The round comprised equity and debt. Powerhouse Ventures led the fundraise, with participation from GSF and undisclosed angel investors. Before that, the startup raised ₹5.4 Cr in seed funding in 2024.

At the time of the pre-Series A fundraise, Holiday Tribe said it would invest in AI capabilities for personalisation, itinerary optimisation, and customer assistance, while expanding its supplier base in emerging destinations. Its deployment plans for the proposed fresh round are not yet known.

RPSG Capital Ventures, part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, is an early-stage consumer investment firm focused on businesses across food and beverages, personal care, and lifestyle goods and services.

Holiday Tribe’s funding talks come amid investments in startups building customised holiday planning and booking services.

In July, Gurugram-based 30 Sundays raised ₹61 Cr in a Series A round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Info Edge Ventures and Eximius Ventures.

30 Sundays offers itinerary planning, bookings, and on-trip support for outbound Indian travellers, primarily targeting couples. It said the capital would help strengthen its AI capabilities, expand its engineering team, and enter markets including Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines.

The startup uses AI across lead qualification, itinerary creation, follow-ups, and reservations. At the time of the fundraise, it claimed an annualised gross booking value run rate of about ₹200 Cr across Bali, Vietnam, the Maldives, and Thailand.

Established travel platforms are also expanding their holiday offerings. Earlier this month, TravClan raised $5 Mn through a mix of equity and debt, with Flipkart and August One investing in equity and Trifecta Capital providing debt.

The partnership is intended to help Cleartrip and Flipkart Travel expand their curated international holiday packages and on-ground support. TravClan works with more than 15,000 travel agents to customise and book packages, hotels, and activities.
