Brazilian edtech AMentoria raised a $196K seed round led by Triaxis Capital and Crescera Capital through FIP Nordeste Capital Semente. Insper Angels, Anjos do Brasil, Cristiano Faé, Adriano Silveira, and existing investor WOW Aceleradora also participated.
Founded in 2019 in Natal, Brazil, AMentoria offers test preparation and individual mentoring for students taking the ENEM and university entrance exams, with a focus on medical school admissions. AMentoria works directly with students and through partnerships with schools.
AMentoria will use the funding to improve its learning platform, expand its school partnerships, establish operations in São Paulo, and enter new regions across Brazil.
AMentoria’s monthly recurring revenue from school partnerships doubled in recent months. AMentoria has helped more than 1,000 students gain admission to medical school and completed over 40,000 individual mentoring sessions.
