Accel is trimming its stake in BlackBuck to book profits amid a healthy uptick in the logistics company’s share price, revenues and profits

Early backer Accel India yesterday sold 27 Lakh shares of logistics giant BlackBuckBlackBuck Datalabs_in-article-icon via an open-market transaction for ₹155.5 Cr.

As per NSE data, Accel sold the shares at ₹576.05 apiece to rake in the amount. The VC giant offloaded nearly 1.5% of its stake in the logistics giant at a discount of 8.4% to the stock’s last closing price on Friday.

The shares that flooded the market were lapped up by asset management company (AMC) Abakkus Investment Managers.

Accel, via its affiliate Accel India IV (Mauritius) held a 7.17% stake in the logistics company at the end of June 2026.

The block deal comes as investors look to book profits amid a healthy uptick in BlackBuck shares in recent months. While the stock has surged nearly 18% in the past three months, it is down 7.6% on a year-to-date (YTD) basis.

The rebound in its stock price has come on the back of its strong financial and operational performance. BlackBuck’s net profit jumped 25% to ₹42.2 Cr in the first quarter (Q1) of the fiscal year 2026-27 (FY27) from ₹33.7 Cr a year earlier. Meanwhile, revenue from operations also zoomed 42% YoY and 10% QoQ to ₹204.2 Cr in the quarter under review.

Founded in 2015 by Rajesh Kumar Naidu Yabaji, Chanakya Hridaya and Ramasubramanian Balasubramaniam, BlackBuck operates an online B2B marketplace for inter-city full truck load (FTL) transportation. It also offers telematics solutions and vehicle financing services to truck operators in the country.

Backed by the likes of Accel India, Flipkart’s subsidiary Quickroutes and Peak XV Partners, the startup claims to have served 8.83 Lakh customers in Q1 FY27, while monthly transacting customers, using two or more services, rose 20% YoY to 4.6 Lakh.

Shares of BlackBuck closed Friday’s trading session 7.46% higher at ₹629.05 on the BSE.
