Medulance has raised ₹24 Cr in a Series A round led by Auxano, Alkemi and Equentis, with angel investors also participating

The funding will help Medulance scale its technology-led ambulance and emergency response network across India

The startup operates 15,000+ ambulances across 500+ cities, serves 8 Mn+ people and is expanding its connected ambulance and hospital-focused services

Healthtech startup MedulanceMedulance Datalabs_in-article-icon has raised ₹24 Cr ($2.5 Mn) in its Series A funding round from Auxano Capital, existing backers Alkemi, Equentis and a group of angel investors.

The startup plans to use the fresh capital to expand emergency services pan India, grow its hospital and enterprise business, and improve its technology and connected ambulances.

Founded in 2017 by Pranav Bajaj and Ravjot Singh Arora, Medulance is an Indian GPS-based emergency response and ambulance booking service.

It provides app- and phone-based ambulance booking and dispatch services, with a fleet that includes advanced life support (ALS), basic life support (BLS), patient transport and mortuary vans.

The startup uses tech to manage ambulances, emergency calls and dispatch, while connecting patients with medical teams and hospitals in real time.

It uses GPS and 5G-enabled technology to enable real-time patient data sharing with hospitals.

Medulance claims to have more than 15,000 ambulances across over 500 cities. Its network covers more than 80 Lakh people and handles around 5,000 emergency calls every day.

The startup also claims an average response time of less than 11 minutes, 95% fleet uptime and more than 110 corporate and hospital clients.

These ambulances can send a patient’s health data to hospitals in real time and use cameras to help doctors assess patients remotely before they reach the hospital.

Medulance has raised over $5 Mn to date, including a $3 Mn Series A round led by Alkemi Growth Capital in 2024.

The latest funding comes as Medulance looks to scale its emergency response network amid growing demand for organised ambulance and pre-hospital care services in India.

The country’s emergency healthcare system remains fragmented, with ambulance operators, hospitals and medical teams often working across disconnected systems, creating gaps in response times and coordination.

India’s ambulance services market reached $5.5 Bn in 2025 and is expected to grow to $9.8 Bn by 2034, registering a CAGR of 6.33% between 2026 and 2034.
