Fintech Félix raised a $200M Series C tripling its valuation from its previous round and reaching unicorn status. The financing consists of $87M in equity led by Andreessen Horowitz and $113M in debt from General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund. QED Investors, Castle Island Ventures, Switch Ventures, Contour Venture Partners, and Endeavor Catalyst also participated.

Founded in 2020 by Manuel Godoy and Bernardo García, Félix enables users in the US to send money to Latin America through WhatsApp. The platform combines conversational AI and blockchain infrastructure to process and settle transfers without requiring users to download an app.

Félix will use the capital to expand its product offering and enter new markets across Latin America.

Félix has processed more than $8B in transactions and operates in 11 Latin American markets, including Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Peru. Its revenue grew more than 2.5 times over the past 12 months.
