D2C home cleaning startup Scrubsy has raised ₹27 Cr ($3 Mn) in a seed round led by V3 Ventures

The Delhi NCR-based startup will use the funding to expand into new categories, including car cleaners, laundry care and other all-purpose home-cleaning solutions

Details: Founded in 2025 by Kartik Sibal, Ishan Suri, Nitin Jain and Aditya Bhasin, Scrubsy makes foam-based cleaning products for kitchens, bathrooms, footwear and other surfaces

D2C home-cleaning startup Scrubsy has raised ₹27 Cr ($3 Mn) in a seed round led by V3 Ventures.

Founded in 2025 by Kartik Sibal, Ishan Suri, Nitin Jain and Aditya Bhasin, Scrubsy makes foam-based cleaning products for kitchens, bathrooms, footwear and other surfaces. With the fresh funds, the Delhi NCR-based startup intends to expand into new categories, including car cleaners, laundry care and other all-purpose home-cleaning solutions.

According to the startup, its formulations are designed to cling to grime and stains and work within 30 seconds, reducing the need for heavy scrubbing.

Scrubsy sells its products via its D2C website and major marketplaces. Its portfolio includes a kitchen cleaner and degreaser, an all-in-one bathroom cleaner, a multi-purpose foam cleaner and a footwear cleaner.

BoldChem Science Pvt Ltd, which is its parent entity, claims to have grown 100% year-on-year in terms of revenue and acquired more than 5 Lakh customers within eight months of launch.

The startup is targeting ₹100 Cr in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by FY28. It claims to have been bootstrapped till now and EBITDA-positive since inception.

Scrubsy competes with the likes of Happi Planet, Koparo Clean, Clensta among others.

The fundraise comes as India’s household cleaning market expands, with rising hygiene awareness, urbanisation and higher disposable incomes driving demand for branded and specialised cleaning products.

The market was valued at $11.91 Bn in 2025 and is projected to reach $39.84 Bn by 2034, growing at a CAGR of 13.93%, as consumers increasingly move towards targeted solutions for specific cleaning needs.
