The district administration on Friday (July 31, 2026) released the draft voter lift after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026.
According to the list, the number of voters in Tirupati district has been pegged at 14,81,603, which includes 7,20,329 male, 7,61,188 female and 86 transgender voters. The number of voters, constituency-wise, is as follows: Sullurpeta – 2,15,338; Venkatagiri – 2,09,276, Railway Kodur (SC) – 1,80,017, Chandragiri – 2,63,522, Tirupati – 2,04,406, Srikalahasti – 2,16,287, Satyavedu – 1,92,757.
Addressing a media conference here, District Collector S. Venkateswar stated that the district was well ahead of its target in releasing the list, which was prepared in a transparent, error-free manner with the effective participation from the public, including the representatives of various political parties.
While divulging details on the draft list, claims and counter claims, objections raised, mapping process and verification of anomalies, Mr. Venkateswar assured to look into every minute detail to extend every eligible voter in the district his/her right to vote.
The booth level officers (BLO) and booth level agents (BLA) worked in tandem to identify the absent, shifted, deceased and duplicate entries, which were collectively pegged at 2.87 lakh in the district.
While mapping process had not been completed for nearly 1.62 lakh voters, they would be issued notices to submit their declaration between August 1 and 30, the Collector added.
