The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) conducted Gram Sabhas in Thulluru and Nelapadu villages on Wednesday (August 5, 2026) and gathered public feedback on the Amaravati Master Plan and the proposed village road circulation network as part of the capital city’s planning process.
Consultations were held in Thulluru under the West Central-1 Grid and Nelapadu under the West Central-2 Grid to explain the Village Circulation Plan and Village Integration Plan, while seeking suggestions from residents.
Officials briefed villagers on the proposed road network, integration of existing village roads with the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) zones, and infrastructure development planned to meet future requirements.
Thulluru Special Deputy Collector P. Padmavathi, Nelapadu Special Deputy Collector G. Muralidhar, and other officials explained that detailed surveys of existing village roads and the proposed LPS road network were being undertaken. The data collected would help prepare efficient circulation plans and support long-term infrastructure development across the capital region.
Villagers took part in the discussions and shared their suggestions on the proposed plans. Officials said the feedback would be examined before finalising the Village Circulation and Village Integration Plans for each settlement.
The APCRDA said Gram Sabhas would be conducted in phases across all capital region villages. The next meetings are scheduled at Sakhamuru at 11 a.m. and Ainavolu at 2.30 p.m. on Thursday. Planning, social development and estates officials and technical experts will take part in the consultations.
