With its IPO completely subscribed now, Klassroom will be making its public market debut on the BSE SME platform on August 7 (Friday)

The momentum continued to be shouldered by retail investors (RIIs), who have placed the highest number of bids for 12.76 Lakh shares against 8.18 Lakh reserved for them

Edtech startup Klassroom’s IPO was completely subscribed on the final day of bidding. As of 13:20 IST, the issue received bids for  20.74 Lakh shares against a total size of 17.58 Lakh shares on offer, translating to an oversubscription of 1.18X. 

The momentum continued to be shouldered by retail investors (RIIs), who have placed the highest number of bids for 12.76 Lakh shares against 8.18 Lakh reserved for them. This reflects a 1.56X oversubscription of their quota. 

Trailing RIIs, interest from non institutional investors (NIIs) also picked pace on the third day of the IPO. These investors have now oversubscribed their quota by 1.02X, bidding for 4.85 Lakh shares compared to 4.76 Lakh shares reserved for them.

Meanwhile, interest from qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) came to a standstill on day three, with their quota still undersubscribed at 68%. These investors have bid for 3.15 Lakh shares against 4.64 Lakh shares reserved for them as of now.

With its IPO completely subscribed now, KlassroomKlassroom Datalabs_in-article-icon will be making its public market debut on the BSE SME platform on August 7 (Friday).

The public issue comprises a fresh issue of up to 19.89 Lakh shares and an offer for sale of up to 4.66 Lakh shares. At the upper end of the price band of ₹151-159, Klassroom is looking to raise ₹39 Cr via the IPO.

The edtech startup will deploy the net proceeds towards tech upgrades, content development, marketing and brand building, and debt repayment. 

On the financial front, Klassroom posted a net profit of ₹7.6 Cr in FY26, marking almost 162% increase from ₹2.9 Cr in FY25. Operating revenue stood at ₹23 Cr in the year under review, up 128% from around ₹10 Cr in the year prior.
