Colombian proptech Duppla raised $60M in a mix of debt and equity. The round was led by a fund managed by Patria Investments, with participation from Skandia Planeación Financiera, Cometa, Grupo Pegasus, Nazca, and other local and international investors.

Founded in 2022 Duppla provides an alternative path to homeownership for families that cannot qualify for traditional mortgages because of informal income or limited savings. The company purchases the home selected by the customer, rents it to the family, and gives them up to five years to complete the purchase. Customers can enter the program with a 15% down payment.

The new capital will increase Duppla’s financing capacity, expand its residential investment platform, and support its expansion across Colombia, starting with Medellín.

Duppla has helped more than 300 families purchase homes in Bogotá and nearby municipalities. The company also operates a residential investment platform that packages rental income into investment products for institutional investors.
