Jana Sena Party (JSP) Anantapur district president and Anantapur-Hindupur Urban Development Authority (AHUDA) chairman T.C. Varun on Sunday criticised YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Sake Sailajanath for his recent remarks against Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and warned the Opposition party leaders of stringent action if it repeats.

Earlier, Mr. Sailajanath hit out at the ruling government and the Deputy CM, stating that the government should be accountable for the “deteriorating law and order situation” in the State.

Mr. Varun said that the YSRCP leader is targeting the Deputy CM in a desperate bid to “gain attention” as he still remains unrecognised after joining the YSRCP. “Such tactics would not bring him [Sailajanath] any political prominence and he will remain as a political unemployed figure,” he said.
