Andhra Pradesh Roads and Buildings Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy on Thursday (June 25, 2026) undertook a whirlwind tour of his home constituency, Banaganapalle.

First, Mr. Janardhan Reddy visited the Sri Vasavi Bommidala Government Degree College in Kovelakuntla, and later the Government Junior College and the Government High School in the town.

The Minister oversaw the development works under way at these educational institutions. He said top priority was being given to creating better facilities in educational institutions.

Later, the Minister inspected the completed development works in the Santha Peta area and announced that they would soon be made available to the public. He questioned officials by phone over the unhygienic condition of roads and drainage in the Santha Peta area.

The Minister instructed officials to ensure sanitation problems do not arise, keeping public health in mind.

Mr. Janardhan Reddy also toured Skanda Colony and enquired about the problems faced by local residents. The Minister spoke with the officials concerned by phone and directed them to provide appropriate solutions to the problems raised by the public.

The Minister inspected drainage works near the Ayyappa Swamy temple, where he also received representations from the residents.

Mr. Janardhan Reddy also inspected local drainage works in Swamy Nagar and directed that the pace of work be accelerated. At Indiramma Colony, the Minister enquired about the difficulties faced by local residents.
