Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) and A.P. Innovation Society (APIS) P. Dhatri Reddy on Saturday (June 6, 2026) stressed the importance of creating platforms that nurture talent and innovation among young creators.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the Creative Zone Digital Summit-2026, organised by the Bharat Digital Media Federation (Bharat DMF), in association with RTIH and APIS, she also underlined the role of creators in promoting sustainability and influencing consumer behaviour in today’s digital-first world.
Held under the theme “From Rural Roots to Digital Reach,” the summit showcased how digital platforms are empowering creators from rural and smaller communities to access wider audiences and new opportunities and brought together more than 200 creators, influencers, startup founders, students, policymakers and industry experts from across the State. The event served as a platform for discussions on the growing opportunities within the creator ecosystem and the evolving digital landscape.
The programme featured expert sessions covering topics such as content creation, artificial intelligence, creator monetisation, intellectual property rights, brand partnerships and entrepreneurship. Participants also benefited from networking opportunities aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation.
Founder and Chairman of Bharat DMF Viswa CM highlighted the creator economy’s potential to generate employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. Vipin Unni, co-founder and vice president of Bharat DMF, described creators as the entrepreneurs of the digital era and emphasised the organisation’s commitment to helping them transform their passion into sustainable careers.
