Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Sunday (May 31, 2026) participated in a mega toy collection drive organised under the “Let Kids Play, Let Kids Bloom” campaign at Aarohi Twins Bungalow in Bopal-Ghuma, which falls under the Ghatlodia Assembly constituency.

The campaign, inspired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, aims to encourage children from well-off families to donate toys they no longer use to underprivileged children.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Patel said toys and sports play an important role in the overall development of children and that the initiative would help inculcate values such as empathy, compassion and sharing among youngsters.

He said the campaign was not merely about donating toys but also about fostering social responsibility and strengthening humanitarian values among future generations.

Appealing to citizens to actively participate in the drive, the Chief Minister urged people to contribute toys in large numbers to bring joy to children from economically weaker sections.

During the programme, Mr. Patel also planted a sapling and highlighted the importance of environmental conservation.
