The BBC visited a block of flats in Romania's eastern city of Galați, near the border with Ukraine, after it was hit by what the country described as a Russian drone on Friday.

A resident of the building said he was afraid after the incident, which injured two people.

"If I go back to my flat tonight, I will sleep with fear," he told BBC's Eastern Europe correspondent Sarah Rainsford.

Romanian President Nicușor Dan said the drone was likely hit by Ukrainian air defences over Kyiv's territory, altering its trajectory, though Moscow questioned whether it was Russian.
