The Solapur division of Central Railway has announced revised timings for a few trains halting at Kalaburagi, Ganagapur Road, and Hotgi stations in Karnataka as part of measures aimed at improving operational efficiency and ensuring better punctuality of train services.
The revised timings will come into force on June 1 for most of the affected services, while changes for some weekly trains will be implemented on specific journey commencement dates.
At Hotgi station, Train No 17308 Bagalkot-Mysuru Basava Express will arrive and depart 10 minutes earlier from June 1. The train will now arrive at 6.18 pm and depart at 6.20 pm, instead of the existing timings of 6.28 pm and 6.30 pm.
At Ganagapur Road station, Train No 17050 Hyderabad-SSS Hubballi Express will arrive and depart 10 minutes earlier from June 1. The revised timings are 8.28 pm and 8.30 pm, replacing the existing schedule of 8.38 pm and 8.40 pm.
At Kalaburagi station, Train No 22160 Chennai Central-CSMT Mumbai Express will arrive at 1.50 am and depart at 1.53 am from June 1, five minutes ahead of its current timings.
The timings of three weekly services passing through Kalaburagi have been advanced by five minutes.
Train No 22601 Chennai Central-Sainagar Shirdi Weekly Express will operate with revised timings of 1.45 am arrival and 1.48 am departure from June 3.
Train No 20667 Yesvantpur-Jaipur Weekly Express will follow the revised schedule from June 4, while Train No 22690 Yesvantpur-Ahmedabad Weekly Express will do so from June 7.
Railway officials clarified that there will be no change in the timings of these trains at other stations.
The Solapur division has advised passengers to take note of the revised schedules while planning their journey, and to verify the latest train-running information through official railway enquiry channels before commencing travel.
The changes, officials said, are intended to enhance punctuality and improve the overall travel experience for passengers.
