In view of the upcoming UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination scheduled on May 24, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced that Namma Metro train services across Bengaluru will commence one hour earlier than usual to assist candidates and commuters.

According to a media release issued by BMRCL, metro operations on Sunday will begin from 6 a.m. instead of the regular 7 a.m. from all terminal stations across the network. This includes Whitefield (Kadugodi) and Challaghatta stations on the Purple Line, Madavara and Silk Institute stations on the Green Line, and R.V. Road and Bommasandra stations on the Yellow Line.

The move has been made considering the large number of UPSC aspirants expected to travel to various examination centres across the city.
