The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday (May 19, 2026) launched simultaneous raids at multiple locations linked to Kumar, the General Manager of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) Red Hills division, in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
According to officials, five ACB teams began searches from the early hours of Tuesday (May 19, 2026) at properties associated with the accused, including his residence at Mallapur.
During the searches, officials recovered cash amounting to ₹1.05 crore from the house of the accused officer.
The raids were launched after the ACB registered a disproportionate assets case against Kumar. Officials said searches were being conducted at several locations as part of the ongoing investigation.
Further investigation is underway.
