The Central Bank of India recently organised a mega MSME credit outreach programme in Hyderabad seeking to promote entrepreneurship, strengthen micro, small and medium enterprises and create awareness of various banking and financial assistance schemes for business growth.

Executive director M. V. Murali Krishna reiterated the bank’s commitment to empower MSMEs, startups, women entrepreneurs and self-employed youth through timely and customer-friendly financial support.

Badminton star and brand ambassador Saina Nehwal urged entrepreneurs to pursue goals with dedication, discipline and confidence. She appreciated the initiatives the bank has taken to support emerging businesses and young entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs and MSME customers interacted with senior bank officials, during the programme, and raised queries on collateral-free loans, GST-based financing, Mudra loans, repayment tenure and special schemes available for women entrepreneurs and hospitality businesses. The focus was also on working capital support, digital banking services, business expansion finance and simplified loan processing for MSME customers, the Central Bank of India said in a release.
