Eric Trump knocked Hunter Biden’s art dealings as he defended his own business ventures in the cryptocurrency world in an interview on Tuesday.

As Eric Trump joined CNBC’s “Squawk Box” to celebrate the launch of American Bitcoin — the global digital currency exchange he co-founded — Eric Trump was asked to address concerns about the potential for a conflict of interest, given his father, President Trump’s, position in the White House and his family’s booming success in crypto.

But Eric Trump dismissed those concerns, saying he is nothing like former President Biden’s son, Hunter, who has faced criticism for allegedly using his family name for personal and professional gain.

“Joe, how long have I been sitting at this table? Like 20-something years,” Eric Trump told CNBC’s Joe Kernen. “Meaning, I’ve been doing this with you guys for very long time. We’re far from Hunter Biden.”

Kernen cut in to highlight the concern about Hunter Biden, noting, “People say all presidents sons do these things.”

Eric Trump, who serves as the executive vice president of the Trump Organization, pointed to his business success even before President Trump was first elected.

“The guy’s out there selling finger art, right?” Eric Trump said about Hunter Biden. “You know I’ve run one of the great hospitality companies anywhere in the world.”

“We went through hell, believe me. My father’s the first guy who hasn’t made money off of the presidency,” he said, noting the cost of the legal bills in recent years.

President Trump amassed much of his wealth before entering office, but since becoming president, reports show he and his family and companies have made billions.
