The Cochin International Airport has formally discontinued the ground handling services of Celebi Airport Services India Private Limited in compliance with the directives issued by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security on the grounds of national security.
Despite the transition, all operations of the Kochi airport remain disruption-free, thanks to coordination with authorised alternative service providers, a statement issued by the airport said.
In the long term, the airport is making arrangements to keep the operations smooth and efficient. “All necessary steps are being taken to uphold operational continuity while meeting national security requirements,” the statement said.
