March Madness star Cooper Flagg has been brutally mocked online after appearing to suffer a very unfortunate accident as Duke crashed out of the tournament.

Flagg, the projected No. 1 pick in this year\'s NBA Draft, was unable to inspire the Blue Devils to victory in their Final Four showdown with the Houston Cougars at the weekend, despite the fact they led by 14 points at one stage in the second half.

And his team\'s stunning collapse on the night meant the jokes were on a plate when fan footage captured a suspicious yellow stain on the back of his white shorts.

One user shared a photo of the Duke forward on X and savagely wrote: \'POOPER FLAGG\'.

Another fan joked: \'sometimes you play so hard you s*** urself\'.

\'Hard to recover from this coop, said a third.

\'You’re got to be kidding me,\' a fourth commented.

While one quipped: \'S*** happens\'.

Despite his apparent accident, and Duke\'s defeat in the game, Flagg still finished with a solid 27 points as his school were dumped out of the tournament.

But the 18-year-old failed to end his college career on a high after missing out on a place in the championship game before he makes the move up to the big leagues as expected.

Before Duke\'s stunning meltdown in the Final Four, he broke his silence on a potential move into the NBA this year.

\'It would be a blessing for me to get drafted [by any] team in the NBA,\' he said Friday, via college basketball insider Adam Zagoria.

\'That’s a dream of mine, to play in the NBA. I would feel completely blessed and honored to play for any team.\'
