An ITI student has suffered serious injuries to his nose and eye in an attack by his classmate at Ottappalam. The attack took place on February 19 morning inside the classroom. The surveillance camera footage of the incident is making the rounds on social media platforms.
The police registered a case against Kishore, student of ITI, Ottappalam, in connection with the attack. K.K. Sajan, 20, who suffered the injuries in the attack, is being treated at a private hospital.
Sajan’s mother said the attack was unprovoked and brutal. She said her son had been hit with a metal object. The police said they have initiated an investigation.
