Condolences poured over the death of senior journalist and Aradhana magazine editor Gosala Prasad, on Wednesday.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock over the death of the political analyst. He said Prasad earned immense recognition over four decades as a journalist and political analyst. Prasad’s deep analysis during television debates on political developments stood out, he said and extended condolences to the breaved family.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said that the sudden demise of Prasad was unfortunate. “I pray to God for his soul to attain peace. With vast experience as a journalist, Prasad always voiced his opinions in favour of the people on various platforms. I extend my deepest condolences to Prasad’s family,” he said.
Minister of Endowments Anam Ramanarayana Reddy expressed profound grief and extended his deepest condolences to the family of Gosala Prasad. “Shri Gosala Prasad stood as a beacon of impartial journalism. His demise is an irreparable loss to the world of journalism,” he said.
Expressing shock, I&PR Minister Kolusu Parthasarathi said Prasad had worked for a long time as a journalist with Andhra Prabha and served as a political analyst for various media outlets and channels.
Agriculture Minister K. Atchannaidu said that Prasad worked tirelessly for the welfare of society throughout his career.
Minister of Civil Supplies, Nadendla Manohar recalled Prasad’s services as the editor of Aradhana, a magazine under the Endowments Department.
Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy described the death of Prasad as an irreparable loss to the journalism.
