The Rasmi Film Society in Malappuram, one of the oldest existing film societies in the State, is set to celebrate its golden jubilee with year-long programmes from December. The celebrations will include village cinema screenings, campus film festivals, film discourses, short film festivals, drama festivals, a film history exhibition, film clubs, film appreciation camps, a film library and a souvenir.
The year-long celebrations will conclude with a Malappuram film carnival in December 2025.
The film society has invited logos for the jubilee celebrations. The best logo will be given a prize of ₹5,000 and a citation, said Rasmi Film Society president and poet Manambur Rajanbabu. The logo can be emailed to [email protected] or WhatsApped to 9656395360. The last date to send the logo is December 15.
