Pittsburgh Steelers star Alex Highsmith appeared to suffer a gruesome ankle injury in the final stages of their game against the Washington Commanders on Sunday.
Highsmith was chasing down Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels deep in the fourth quarter when his ankle got trapped and bent at an awkward angle.
His teammates immediately looked upset as he remained on the ground in need of medical assistance.
