A car thief in Canada tried to pull a high-risk stunt from some action blockbuster in real life. But it all turned awry for him when he realized the reality is quite different from what he sees on the big screen.\n

On Tuesday evening, Ramanpreet Singh, a 25-year-old Indian-origin man from Brampton, Canada was arrested by police for stealing an SUV. However, what was more shocking to see was the lengths he went to to escape from being busted. A viral video of Tim Horton’s drive-thru documents his antics as police cruisers chased the criminal driving the stolen SUV and successfully cornered him to a wall.\n

In a final gasp, Singh tried to power his car through two police vehicles in front of him and ran over both of them. But it was too much to ask as he got stuck and tried to reverse in another futile attempt. By then another Police car came from behind and further squeezed the SUV before the video ended.\n

Fortunately, no one was sitting in the police vehicles and no injuries have been reported in the incident. After his high-octane shenanigans, Ramanpreet Singh faces six criminal charges against him and is being held for a bail hearing.
