In September last year, Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare got engaged in Italy. Two months later, they hosted an engagement party that was attended by family and close friends, including Imran Khan, Aamir’s ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao and actor Fatima Sana Shaikh. The couple is all set to tie the knot on January 3.
On Sunday, Aamir was seen at his ex-wife Reena Dutta’s house to kick off the wedding preparations. The actor was spotted wearing a white and blue striped kurta paired with blue wide-legged comfy pants. He completed his outfit with sandals. He waved at the paps as they caught a glimpse of him.
An insider told ETimes that the wedding will take place at an outdoor location in Udaipur during the first weekend of January. It will be preceded by a registered wedding, post which all the wedding rituals will begin. There is no wedding reception planned in Delhi, but a big industry wedding reception will take place in Mumbai.
Further, a source added that most actors aren’t in town due to the holiday season. But be assured that it’s going to be a star-studded affair. Those who won’t be able to make it to their big day will be a part of the reception in Jaipur.
