Vitor Roque has been busy meeting his new Barcelona team-mates and manager Xavi after arriving at the club from Brazilian side Athletico Paranaense.

\n\n \n\n \n \n\n\n

The teenager was at the club on Friday as the players return to training for the first time since Christmas.

\n\n

Vitor Roque was filmed meeting Xavi, Ferran Torres, Raphinha, Sergi Roberto, Frenkie de Jong and Inaki Pena as he starts to get used to life at Barca.

\n\n \n\n

He also get the traditional treatment as he took to the pitch for the first time.

\n\n \n\n

The Brazilian has also given his first full interview to the club and revealed how he’d been chatting with Xavi before making the move.

\n\n \n\n

“Nothing specific, to be honest. But before I joined Barça, I spoke with both Xavi and Deco, and not just as coaches, but also as friends. They were always ready to help with everything and I am very grateful for their faith in me.”

\n\n

Vitor Roque will now be hoping to make his debut when Barcelona return to action in 2024 against Las Palmas on January 4.
