Karnataka teacher’s ‘romantic’ photoshoot with a male student on educational trip sparks outrage, parents demand immediate action.
A recent photoshoot involving a teacher and a student has stirred controversy on social media, gaining widespread attention. The woman in question, identified as the headmistress of a government high school in a village in Chintamani taluk in Karnataka, is facing intense scrutiny for her alleged misconduct during an educational study tour with a male student. The leaked photos, which quickly became viral on social media, show the headmistress in romantic poses with the high school student, prompting the parents of the student to demand action against her.
The images capture the student, attired in a kurta and jeans, engaging in various intimate acts with the teacher, including kissing, lifting, and tugging at her saree. According to various media reports, the headmistress is accused of inappropriate behaviour with the minor boy studying in SSLC, as she allegedly documented intimate moments with him on her mobile phone during the tour.

The revelation of these photos has sparked a call for action, with even the parents of the student expressing their shock upon discovering the content of the romantic photoshoot. In response, they promptly confronted the headmistress at the school and filed a complaint with the Block Education Officer (BEO), urging a comprehensive investigation into her behaviour. The parents are advocating for swift action, underlining the importance of safety and accountability within the educational system.

Interestingly, this incident is not an isolated case. Similar instances of inappropriate behaviour by teachers have surfaced in the past. In 2022, a video of a teacher dancing to a Bhojpuri song in the classroom went viral, drawing criticism from social media users. The video depicted a teacher in a saree dancing to the song ‘Patli Kamariya Mori,’ with students in the background waving and jumping, further fueling the discourse regarding the ongoing challenges related to professional conduct within the education sector.
