Released on October 2, 2019, Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan’s spy thriller, War, went on to become a huge blockbuster at the box office. The film’s director Ayan Mukerji is all set to helm a sequel to War. Titled War 2, this crazy project will feature Hrithik and Tollywood star NTR in lead roles.

This evening, on War’s fourth anniversary, Ayan Mukerji landed in Hyderabad and met with NTR. The duo reportedly discussed War 2’s pre-production formalities and NTR’s character. We had reported in the first week of September that Ayan Mukerji was in Hyderabad to oversee War 2’s pre-production work. Tarak will be joining War 2’s shoot as soon as he wraps up his portions in Koratala Siva’s Devara.

Leading Bollywood filmmaker Aditya Chopra is producing War 2 on a massive scale. The pan-India film is confirmed to open in cinemas worldwide on January 24, 2025 as a Republic Day treat. Stay tuned to 123telugu for more updates on this epic sequel.
