Madurai city police have filed a case against Ayodhya seer Ramchandra Das Paramhans Acharya, who publicly offered a Rs 10 crore reward for beheading Tamil Nadu\'s Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Udhayanidhi Stalin. In a video, the seer symbolically \'beheaded\' a photo of Udhayanidhi Stalin with a sword and set it on fire. Journalist Piyush Rai, who shared the video on Twitter, was also named in the case. Both were charged with promoting hate and criminal intimidation under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. The complaint was filed by the DMK legal wing in Madurai city.
