Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 users have started receiving the new One UI 5.1.1 update in India. The update brings several new features and changes that we’ve seen with the Z Flip 5. The update carries the firmware version F721BXXUDWH5 and the update download size is massive at around 2500MB. In addition to this, the update also includes the August 2023 security patch for foldable smartphones.

: What’s new


According to the report, the One UI 5.1.1 brings a couple of new features that are introduced with Z Flip5. This includes the improved Flex Mode which now includes a progress bar with media playback control. Users now also have the option to customise the buttons in this mode as per their preference.

New lock screen clock fonts and video calling background changes are also a part of the Z Flip4’s One UI 5.1.1 update.


How to check for the update


The update is now rolling out to all Z Flip 4 users in India. The update is rolling out via OTA update and users will receive a notification regarding the same. If you’ve received the notification. Simply tap on it to open the update settings and install the update.

If you’ve not received a notification, then head to Settings → Software update→ and tap on the Check for updates button to run the check manually. If it shows that the update is available, tap on the Download button to initiate the update process.
