Spain and England will clash in the final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 at the Stadium Australia in Sydney on Sunday.

En route to the final, Spain scored 17 goals with Aitana Bonmati, Jennifer Hermoso and Alba Redondo contributing three goals each. They have conceded seven times and have kept two clean sheets in six matches.

World No. 4 England came into the competition after winning the 2022 women's Euros. The Lionesses, on their way to the FIFA World Cup 2023 final, topped Group D with wins over Haiti, Denmark and the People’s Republic of China.

In the round of 16, the England women’s football team ousted Nigeria via penalty shootout and then beat Colombia and co-hosts Australia in the quarters and semis, respectively.

In their six matches, the Millie Bright-captained side has scored 13 goals while conceding just three. Lauren Hemp, Lauren James and Alesia Russo have scored three goals each in the competition.
