Several Miss Universe Indonesia candidates have filed a police complaint accusing organisers of sexual harassment. The contestants allege they were asked to remove their tops for “body checks” and photographs two days before the finals on August 3. The organisers allegedly told the women they had \"to examine any scars, cellulite or tattoos on their bodies\". Police in capital Jakarta have issued a statement saying they would investigate the matter. Miss Universe Indonesia Organisation also assured to probe the allegations, and the global Miss Universe Organisation also said it was looking into the matter and that it takes allegations of sexual impropriety \"very seriously\".
