Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann announces salary hike for newly regularised teachers. CM Mann also announced benefits like paid leaves and maternity leaves and assured 5% annual increment in salary every year. As per the announcement, Education volunteers’ salary hiked to Rs 15,000 from Rs 3,500 while EGS, EIE and STR teachers’ will now get Rs 18000 instead of Rs 6,000. Similarly, salary of Education Providers,ETT & NTT teachers, IEV Volunteers and B.A, M.A, B.Ed teachers also increased by AAP govt.
