The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, slated to make its debut at the upcoming Unpacked 2023 event, has recently been leaked, revealing various details about its design, features, and display. According to a reliable tipster named Ahmed Qwaider, the Z Flip 5 is said to be 50 per cent more durable than its predecessor, the Z Flip 4.

Qwaider further mentioned that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will boast a 45 per cent improved design compared to its previous iteration, along with a 30 percent enhancement in Flex Mode functionality. The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x main screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, complemented by a 3.4-inch cover screen featuring a 60Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it is rumored that the Z Flip 5 will come with the latest Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

As per the informant, the Z Flip 5 will be equipped with a dual camera setup, offering a resolution of 12MP + 12MP, and the camera sensors will be safeguarded by Gorilla Glass DX. Other notable features of the device include a 10MP front-facing camera for selfies, the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 3,700mAh battery, rapid wired charging at 25W, and an IPX8 water resistance rating.

Samsung had previously announced that their upcoming foldable devices would be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, towards the end of July.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is anticipated to come in eight attractive color options: Blue, Cream, Coral, Diamond, Graphite, Misty Green, Platinum, and Yellow. However, it is worth noting that the Blue, Platinum, and Yellow variants might be exclusively available online.

Meanwhile, the company is expected to launch the next generation smartwatch, Tab S9 series, and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 during the Unpacked 2023.
